Ib has a lot of sentimental value to me as a game, it was the first ever RPG gamer maker I ran into, the first one i watched anyone play, and the first one i played myself.
Ib herself never speaks in-game, the only moments we can see her words is whenever we're chosing what to answer in specific ocasions during the gameplay. I related a lot to her because I, myself, was a very quiet kid. I never spoke a lot, speaking is exhausting.
I first played ib when I was 11 years old, and it was a great experience. I got a bad ending on my first try, it truly broke my heart. I've started and finished playing a milion times ever since.
i might not be as moved by the story and the characters as I was when i first played, but Ib truly is a heart-moving piece. there was a remake that came out a while ago, and its great. of course, i still like the original game better, but anyone could see that there was a lot of care put into the remake. new areas, new puzzles, new songs.
I wish i could experience playing it again for the first time.
